"Viemos trazer de volta a natureza, viemos trazer de volta a cultura" : história oral na retomada Xokleng Konglui em São Francisco de Paula-RS

Abstract

A questão central deste trabalho envolve a aproximação com os conceitos, significados e motivações da retomada do território ancestral Xokleng Konglui, na Floresta Nacional de São Francisco de Paula/RS, a partir de seus próprios termos. Para isso, as teorias e metodologias da história oral, da antropologia e dos Xokleng Konglui aparecem, aqui, em um diálogo interdisciplinar e intercultural. O encontro entre produções indígenas e não-indígenas compuseram a busca por um caminho ético na coleta e análise das fontes orais, fonte principal nesta pesquisa junto a análise de obras historiográficas sobre a presença dos antepassados Botocudos no Sul do Brasil, nos Campos de Cima da Serra, nordeste do Rio Grande do Sul. Parte do exercício propôs repensar práticas e motivações no campo da história oral nesta pesquisa realizada em conjunto entre uma zug (branca) e as famílias Xokleng Konglui, em especial na construção de uma relação de afeto e confiança com a Cacica Cullung Vei-tchá Teie. Tendo consciência das consequências e continuidades do processo colonial no agora, a noção de “conflito ontológico” sobre o território, em diálogo com a antropóloga Marisol de La Cadena, compõe parte estruturante nesta argumentação sobre a análise das disputas judiciais com o aparato estatal moderno que envolvem a volta das famílias Xokleng Konglui ao território ancestral dos antepassados, e a construção das memórias sobre o processo de expropriação das terras tradicionalmente ocupadas e de suas trajetórias.

In this work I propose an approximation with the concepts, meanings and motivations at the territorial resumption lead by the Xokleng Konglui people at the National Forest of São Francisco de Paula, Rio Grande do Sul/Brazil, from their own terms. Here, the theories and methodologies of oral history, anthropology an from Xokleng Konglui people are in interdisciplinary and intercultural dialogue. Indigenous and non-indigenous productions are together building an ethical path on the oral history gathering and analysis process, as the main source for this research with the analysis of historiographical works on the presence of their ancestors, the Botocudos, at the region called Campos de Cima da Serra - northwest of Rio Grande do Sul. Rethinking practices and motivations on the oral history field is a central exercise at this research carried out between me, a zug (white woman), and the Xokleng Konglui families, mainly on building an affective and trustable relationship with Cacica Cullung Vei-tchá Teie. As a structural part of this discussion on the legal dispute with the modern State and the Xokleng Konglui families returning to the ancestral territory, the reconstruction on the expropriation of their memories and territories during the colonial past are in a dialogue with Marisol De La Cadena, whose concept of “ontological conflict” over the territory/the land is used here aware of the consequences and continuities of the colonial process in our days.
