“Ninhos e o Arquivo Agora” : fotografia e projeção na obra de Elaine Tedesco

Abstract

No artigo analisa-se a obra da artista brasileira Elaine Tedesco na exposição “Ninhos e o Arquivo Agora”. A artista projeta e refotografa no espaço expositivo negativos fotográficos da década de 80 de seus arquivos. O Ninho é utilizado como metáfora de abrigo na exposição, e as imagens ressignificadas são de crianças fotografadas em cenas de brincadeiras ou trabalho infantil. Conclui-se que a artista, por seu processo de criação,torna essas imagens potentes, forte e críticas socialmente

The article analyzes the art work of the Brazilian artist Elaine Tedesco in the exhibition “Ninhos e o Arquivo Agora”. The artist designs and reframe 1980s photographic negatives of her archives, in the exhibition space. The Nest is used as a shelter metaphor in the exhibition, and the resigned images are of children photographed in scenes of play or child labor. It is concluded that the artist, by its process of creation, makes these images powerful, strong and socially critical
