Estudo exploratório da demanda da Estratégia Saúde da Família Jardim Cascata, Porto Alegre-RS

Abstract

Este estudo analisou a demanda dos usuários que procuraram a ESF Jardim Cascata, localizada no município de Porto Alegre-RS, no período de 07 a 11 de junho de 2010. O instrumento utilizado para a coleta dos dados foi uma entrevista semi-estruturada e a amostra totalizou 352 usuários voluntários. Em relação ao sexo, as mulheres corresponderam a 67,04% dos atendimentos. Quanto à faixa etária, 26,9% tinham entre 20 e 39 anos e a média de idade foi de 35 anos. Os aposentados representaram a ocupação mais freqüente (16,47%). O dia da semana onde houve maior demanda foi sexta-feira e, no turno da manhã, houve maior procura por atendimento do que na tarde. Os usuários adscritos à micro área 2 da equipe I foram os que mais acessaram o serviço. As três principais razões pelas quais os usuários procuraram a Unidade de Saúde foram o pronto-atendimento em saúde (31,540%), consultas agendadas (17,92%) e para retirar medicamento (15,34%) . Os resultados encontrados servem como base para a gestão e planejamento do serviço de saúde pesquisado. No futuro, sugere-se um estudo mais detalhado da demanda espontânea da ESF Jardim Cascata.

This study analysed the demand of the population who sought for medical attention in the Jardim Cascata Family Health Strategies Primary Unit, established in the city of Porto Alegre – Rio Grande do Sul, during the period from June 7th to the 11th , 2010. The instrument for data collection was a semi-structured interview. The sample summed up 352 clientele volunteers. In relation to gender, women were responsible for 67.04% of the provided services. Age wise, 26.9% were from 20 to 39 years old, with the average being 35 years old. The retired population represented the most frequent occupation (16.47%). The week day with the most demand was Friday, and there was more search for service in the morning than in the afternoon. The users belonging to Team I’s micro area 2 were the ones who most accessed the services. The three main reasons for seeking the Health Care Unit were the prompt assistance for health services (31.54%), schedule appointments (17.92%) and to withdraw free medication (15.34%). The found results serve as a base for the management and planning of the researched health service. In the future, it’s suggested a more detailed study of Jardim Cascata Family Health Strategies Primary Unit’s spontaneous demand, for planning and scheduling.
