dc.description.abstract	This paper presents a scenario of comparativism and Translation Studies themes in some significant events in the last decade in Brazil. The work is developed according to two main aspects. The first is the analysis of theoretical issues on Comparative Literature and Translation Studies. The second one is the attempt at showing the translator's (in)visibility in culturally marked literary translations and the consequences of the discursive strategies chosen by the translator in the light of the mediation role of translation for the literary and cultural systems.	en
