Causa e efeito : registro do primeiro EP

Abstract

O trabalho tem como principais objetivos descrever o processo pela qual minha banda passou (a imediato caos) até a gravação das 3 músicas que compõem nosso primeiro EP, mostrando como fiz para arranjar, ensaiar, produzir e gravar, desde maio de 2020, quando comecei a compor as músicas e escrever as letras, até novembro de 2021, quando gravamos. Vou abordar aqui a estrutura física que utilizamos, no caso, o ateliê de costura, uma garagem, e mostrar os equipamentos que tínhamos à nossa disposição, pois vale salientar que durante boa parte do tempo estávamos em isolamento, devido ao covid-19, portanto, sem a possibilidade de nos reunirmos presencialmente, tão pouco alugar um estúdio de ensaio ou gravação. É inegável a influência dessas limitações, principalmente nas motivações, que serviram de gatilho para a criação das letras. Com esse registro espero deixar um material descritivo, para que no futuro, outras bandas possam usá-lo como uma espécie de guia, um ponto de referência ou algo por onde começar, se o objetivo for, compor, arranjar, produzir e gravar.

The main objective of this work is to describe the process my band went through (the immediate chaos) until the recording of the 3 songs that make up our first EP, showing how I did to arrange, rehearse, produce, and record, since May 2020, when I started composing the songs and writing the lyrics, until November 2021, when we recorded. I will address here the physical structure that we use, in this case, the sewing studio, a garage, and show the equipment we had at our disposal, as it is worth noting that for much of the time we were in isolation, due to covid-19, so, without the possibility of meeting in person, nor renting a rehearsal or recording studio. The influence of these limitations is undeniable, especially in the motivations, which served as a trigger for the creation of the lyrics. With this record I hope to leave some descriptive material, so that in the future, other bands can use it as a kind of guide, a point of reference or something to start with, if the goal is to compose, arrange, produce, and record.
