O objetivo deste artigo é refletir sobre a centralidade da linguagem na clínica psicanalítica de orientação freudo-lacaniana. Para tanto, aborda-se, na primeira seção, a cisão de Freud com a hipnose e a proposição de sua técnica analítica, lançando-se a pensar a crítica à sugestão e a ética da psicanálise com base no conceito de pulsão. O objetivo deste artigo é refletir sobre a centralidade da linguagem na clínica psicanalítica de orientação freudo-lacaniana. Para tanto, aborda-se, na primeira seção, a cisão de Freud com a hipnose e a proposição de sua técnica analítica, lançando-se a pensar a crítica à sugestão e a ética da psicanálise com base no conceito de pulsão. Em seguida, ainda com referência ao pulsional, aproxima-se do aforismo lacaniano “o inconsciente é estruturado como linguagem”, pensando-o a partir de noções como a arbitrariedade do signo, a primazia do significante e as operações de metáfora e metonímia. Por último, argumenta-se ser a linguagem central à experiência analítica, pois, devido a seu caráter polissêmico, faz emergir o sujeito do inconsciente, apontando para a construção de uma fala Outra, e, assim, levando à descentralização. ...
