Abstract
In an analysis of school indexes, from the 60’s, Bárbara Freitag pointed out that failure rates between 1967 and 1971 oscillated around 63.5%. In this work we perform an analysis of the evasion and repetition rates of the students of the year 2016. We found that the dropout rates seem to have a correlation with the repetition rates. When we compare the dropout rates from elementary to high school, we found that the average is 0.9% and the last is 5%. Based on these data it is possible to say th ...

In this work we perform an analysis of the evasion and repetition rates of the students of the year 2016. We found that the dropout rates seem to have a correlation with the repetition rates. When we compare the dropout rates from elementary to high school, we found that the average is 0.9% and the last is 5%. Based on these data it is possible to say that avoidance rates are not as problematic as it was in past, possibly due government incentives. ...
