"Onde não tem partilha, não tem nada" : a Casa M como dispositivo extra-institucional da 8ª Bienal do Mercosul

Abstract

O presente trabalho parte de um estudo sobre a Casa M, evidenciando seu caráter extra institucional frente a 8ª Bienal do Mercosul. Integrando a mostra Ensaios de Geopoética (2011), o projeto atuou dentro do eixo de estratégias ativadoras da exposição. Idealizada a partir do desejo curatorial de promover a criação de um espaço de diálogo entre a instituição e a comunidade de Porto Alegre, a Casa M se insere no leque de programas institucionais que aproximam a prática curatorial a esfera social e educativa, visando o agenciamento de seus públicos e possibilitando a abertura para criação de processos experimentais em contextos institucionais. Deste modo, o objetivo desta pesquisa é investigar de que formas a atuação da Casa M ocorre, levando em conta o constante contágio entre a estrutura institucional da 8ª Bienal do Mercosul e seus públicos, destacando o atravessamento de forças inerentes a estes dois contextos existentes no espaço. Para tal, foi efetuado a sistematização de fontes, revisão bibliográfica, análise de materiais institucionais e a realização de entrevistas com agentes envolvidos na execução do projeto. Assim cabe destacar a forte presença das vozes e perspectivas de tais agentes na composição do texto e análise realizada.

The present work starts from a study about Casa M, showing its extra-institutional character in relation to the 8th Mercosur Biennial. As part of the exhibition Ensaios de Geopoética (2011), the project worked within the axis of activating strategies of the exhibition. Conceived from the curatorial desire to promote the creation of a space for dialogue between the institution and the community of Porto Alegre, Casa M is part of the range of institutional programs that bring curatorial practice closer to the social and educational sphere, aiming at the agency of their audiences and enabling the opening for creation of experimental processes in institutional contexts. Thus, the objective of this research is to investigate in what ways the work of Casa M occurs, taking into account the constant contagion between the institutional structure of the 8th Bienal do Mercosul and its audiences, highlighting the crossing of forces inherent to these two existing contexts in the space. To this end, the systematization of sources, literature review, analysis of institutional materials and interviews with agents involved in the project's execution were carried out. Thus, it is worth highlighting the strong presence of the voices and perspectives of such agents in the composition of the text and analysis carried out.
