Uso da cirurgia reconstrutiva no tratamento de feridas cutâneas abertas em cães e gatos

Abstract

Cirurgia reconstrutiva é uma grande ferramenta a ser utilizada no tratamento de feridas abertas. Antes de cada cirurgia, as feridas devem ser tratadas para reduzir a contaminação e reação inflamatória local. A região ao redor deve ser tricotomizada e higienizada, sempre protegendo a ferida contra contaminação. Em cães a gatos, o sistema de circulação local favorece a utilização de técnicas cirúrgicas do tipo retalho pediculado. A pele deve ser divulsionada de modo a sempre manter o plexo subdérmico junto a pele a ser movimentada. A técnica cirúrgica a ser escolhida deve estar de acordo com as condições que o local da ferida permitirem, como a elasticidade, linhas de tensão e quantidade de pele disponível, sendo que esta escolha deve permitir o melhor resultado funcional e estético no pós-cirúrgico.

Reconstructive surgery is a great tool to be used in the treatment of wounds. Before each surgery, the wounds must be treated to reduce contamination and local inflammatory reaction. The region around must be clean and well shaved, always protecting the wound against contamination. In dogs to cats, local circulation system promotes the use of surgical techniques of pedicle flap. The skin should be divulsed in order to always keep the subdermic plexus along the skin to be handled. The surgical technique to be chosen should be in accordance with the conditions that the location of the wound permit, as the elasticity of the skin, skin tension lines and skin quantity available, being that this choice should allow better functional and aesthetic result after surgical.
