Krav Maga : sua origem e introdução no Brasil

Abstract

O Krav Magá é reconhecido mundialmente como técnica de defesa pessoal e não se configura, portanto, como uma luta esportiva. Por esta razão há dificuldade de encontrar publicações científicas sobre esta temática. Os objetivos deste estudo é apresentar para o meio acadêmico aspectos pouco conhecidos do Krav Maga, bem como, apresentar a história do seu criador e do introdutor da técnica na América do Sul. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa com referencial metodológico da História Oral e da Pesquisa Documental. Na pesquisa documental buscou-se reportagens, artigos, vídeos, fotografias que contassem sobre a vida de Imi Lichtenfeld, o criador do Krav Maga, e aspectos importantes sobre o Estado de Israel. A história oral foi composta por uma entrevista semiestruturada com o Grão Mestre Kobi Lichtenstein, introdutor do Krav Maga no Brasil. A entrevista foi gravada em dispositivo digital de áudio e transcrita. A análise dos dados seguiu o referencial da análise de depoimentos que corresponde: a elaboração da trajetória de vida do entrevistado; delimitação do tema desenvolvido na narrativa; identificação dos episódios, referências e motivos delimitadores dos episódios presentes no depoimento e, por fim, a determinação da trama construída pelo entrevistado. Os princípios éticos das pesquisas com seres humanos foram respeitados e o participante aceitou dar seu depoimento e assinou o Termo de Consentimento Livre e Esclarecido. O Krav Maga surgiu pela necessidade de defesa do povo judeu, sendo o resultado da fusão da história do seu criador com a história do Estado de Israel. É a resposta oferecida por um líder a seu povo para continuar lutando por sua sobrevivência. Acredita-se que essa pesquisa contribuirá para difundir a história do Krav Maga e as motivações da vinda deste para o Brasil.

Krav Maga is recognized worldwide as a self-defense technique and is therefore not a sports fight. For this reason, it is difficult to find scientific publications on this subject. The objectives of this study are to present to the academic environment little known aspects of the Krav Maga, as well as to present the history of its creator and the introducer of the technique in South America. This is a qualitative research with methodological reference of Oral History and of Documentary Research. In documentary research, articles, videos, photographs about the life of Imi Lichtenfeld, the creator of Krav Maga, and important aspects about the State of Israel were searched. The oral history was composed by a semi-structured interview with Grand Master Kobi Lichtenstein, introducer of Krav Maga in Brazil. The interview was recorded on a digital audio device and transcribed. The analysis of the data followed the reference of the analysis of statements that correspond: the elaboration of the life trajectory of the interviewee; delimitation of the theme developed in the narrative; identification of the episodes, references and motifs delimiting the episodes present in the testimony and, finally, the determination of the plot constructed by the interviewee. The ethical principles of research with human beings were respected and the participant accepted to give his testimony and signed the Term of Free and Informed Consent. The Krav Maga arose out of the need of defense of the Jewish people, being the result of the fusion of the history of its creator with the history of the State of Israel. It is the response offered by a leader to his people to continue striving for their survival. It is believed that this research will contribute to spreading the history of Krav Maga and the motivations of the latter to Brazil.
