Paisagem : entre arquivos, lugares e pensamentos

Abstract

A pesquisa Paisagem: entre arquivos, lugares e pensamentos consiste em uma investigação poética da paisagem através da linguagem da pintura, aquarela e desenhos. As imagens trabalhadas remetem a memórias, paisagens da infância e lugares visitados em viagens. Criei um diagrama que organizou visualmente as imagens e palavras que remetem aos elementos que mais aparecem nas paisagens. Pela identificação desses elementos, como o horizonte, as janelas, os jardins e a paisagem habitada, desenvolvi o trabalho artístico, refletindo e explorando a paisagem e os seus desdobramentos. Trabalhei com autores que discutem sobre a paisagem, como Michel Collot, com a ideia de que a paisagem só acontece no encontro de um observador com um lugar, e Anne Cauquelin, que escreve sobre a paisagem como uma construção mental, e também analisei o trabalho de artistas como Cecily Brown, Cy Twombly e Lucia Laguna, indentificando aproximações dos trabalhos destes artistas com a minha poética.

The research Landscape: between archives, places and thoughts is an poetic investigation on landscape through the language of painting, watercolor and drawing. The worked images refer to memories, childhood landscapes and visited places on trips. I created a diagram that organized visually the images and words that refer to the elements that appear the most in the landscapes. By identifying those elements, such as the horizon, the windows, the gardens and the inhabited landscapes, I reflected on the landscape. As theoretical references I studied thinkers who discussed about landscape, like Michel Collot, who thinks that the landscape only happens when there is an observer and a place, and Anne Cauquelin, who writes about the landscape as a mental construction, and I also analysed the works of artists like Cecily Brown, Cy Twombly and Lucia Laguna, indentifying approaches of these artists’ work with my poetics.
