Imersão na ala pediátrica do Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre : experiências e aprendizagens de um estagiário de Educação Física

Abstract

O hospital é considerado uma das instituições relacionada ao processo de saúde/doença que é destinado a atendimentos de média e alta complexidade, direcionando de forma prioritária tratamentos direto com o estado de doença da população. Dentro das pessoas atendidas encontram-se crianças que passam por processo de internação. O profissional de Educação Física que atua dentro do ambiente hospitalar acaba sendo uma peça fundamental junto aos pacientes, sendo o agente próximo ao contexto de recreação e retomada aos momentos de brincadeiras e diversão que o paciente tinha fora desse ambiente. No entanto, há um cuidado a ser tomado sobre o papel desse profissional frente as necessidades e demandas dos pacientes. Há a necessidade de esclarecer quais são as atribuições de um professor de Educação Física escolar e quais são pertencentes ao profissional de Educação Física dentro do ambiente hospitalar. Portanto, o presente trabalho tem por objetivo descrever as percepções de um estudante do curso de bacharelado em Educação Física, ocorridas no período de estágio em ambiente hospitalar, visando identificar semelhanças e diferenças entre o papel do professor de Educação Física e do profissional de Educação Física que atua em ambiente hospitalar. O desenvolvimento deste trabalho ocorreu através de um relato de experiência. Entre as diferenças encontradas foi identificado a relação professor/profissional da saúde e aluno/paciente, o planejamento frente a espera das demandas vindas dos pacientes e a participação ativa dos pais juntos as atividades dos filhos. Já em relação as semelhanças, observou-se o estabelecimento de regras e normas, o contato e suporte com os superiores, realização de reuniões e retornos, autonomia ao profissional/professor, ações em conjunto e relação com os colegas. Portanto, apesar de serem profissões com funções distintas, elas convergem em diversos aspectos, sendo importante identificar o quanto podem ser investigadas, estudadas e resignificadas suas divergências.

The hospital is considered to be one of the institutions related to the health / illness process that is destined to care of medium and high complexity, directing as a priority direct treatments with the disease state of the population. Among the people served are children who are being hospitalized. The physical education professional who works within the hospital environment ends up being a fundamental piece with the patients, being the agent close to the context of recreation and taken back to the moments of jokes and fun that the patient had outside of that environment. However, there is a care to be taken about the role of this professional in face of the needs and demands of patients. There is a need to clarify what are the attributions of a school physical education teacher and which are belonging to the physical education professional within the hospital environment. The purpose of this study was to describe the perceptions of a baccalaureate student in Physical Education, during the internship period, in order to identify similarities and differences between the role of the physical education teacher and the physical education professional which operates in a hospital environment. The development of this work occurred through an experience report. Among the differences found, the relationship between teacher / health professional and student / patient was identified, planning the waiting for the demands of the patients and the active participation of the parents together the activities of the children. Regarding the similarities, it was observed the establishment of rules and norms, contact and support with superiors, meetings and returns, autonomy to the professional / teacher, joint actions and relations with colleagues. Therefore, although they are professions with different functions, they converge in several aspects, and it is important to identify how much their differences can be investigated, studied and resignified.
