Avaliação ambiental em salas cirúrgicas de um hospital veterinário

Abstract

Os produtos utilizados para a higienização da sala cirúrgica como em todo ambiente hospitalar devem seguir a legislação vigente, protocolos de higiene e avaliar qual o tipo de saneante/desinfetante é adequado para cada tipo de limpeza. A importância da limpeza e desinfecção de uma sala cirúrgica é essencial para o controle bacteriano que pode se propagar e causar danos a todos os integrantes de uma sala cirúrgica. Serão realizadas observações dos procedimentos de higienização das salas de cirurgia para descrição dos processos utilizados no hospital veterinário, tendo como objetivo a avaliação da eficácia dos procedimentos de limpeza e desinfecção no ambiente cirúrgico. Com base na revisão bibliográfica, estes procedimentos serão analisados. Os procedimentos de higienização estudados foram realizados antes das cirurgias com o ambiente limpo e mantido fechado, em ambiente após a cirurgia e após a desinfecção da sala cirúrgica. As amostragens foram realizadas utilizando-se suabes em superfícies fixas e mesa cirúrgica, com auxílio de um molde em uma área de 100cm²; realizou-se, também, coleta microbiológica do ar. A partir dos suabes em água peptonada 0,1%, realizaram-se diluições seriadas e contagem bacteriana em ágar padrão para contagem. As contagens observadas variaram 0,20 a 2,10 e de 0,20 a 1,0 UFC/cm2 antes e após a higienização das mesa cirúrgica, respectivamente, encontrando-se dentro dos padrões internacionais recomendados para ambiente hospitalar. Em relação à qualidade do ar, verificou-se baixa contagem bacteriana na sala limpa e fechada; ocorrendo aumento na contagem bacteriana durante os intervalos dos procedimentos cirúrgicos, provavelmente devido ao transito de pessoas (médico veterinário, auxiliar e paciente); na higienização após a realização de todas as cirurgias, houve redução na contagem bacteriana do ar, contudo esta foi superior à contagem inicial. Implantar e monitorar protocolos de higienização em ambientes de saúde são fundamentais no controle e prevenção de contaminação e incidência de infecção hospitalar, mesmo que estes quadros não tenham sido, ainda, relatados no hospital analisado, a troca de ar entre ambientes interno e externo e o transito de pessoas em um mesmo ambiente são os principais fatores causadores do aumento de poluentes em um ambiente fechado, como a sala cirúrgica, além disso, a limpeza realizada de maneira incorreta e manter janelas abertas no momento da higienização agravam o quadro de propagação de poeiras e materiais com potencial nocivo.

The hygienization procedures studied were performed before surgery with the environment cleaned and kept closed, in the environment after surgery and after the disinfection of the operating room. The samplings were performed using swabs on fixed surfaces and surgical table, with the aid of a mold in an area of 100cm²; microbiological collection of air was also performed. Starting from the swabs in 0.1% peptone water, serial dilutions and bacterial counts were performed on standard agar for counting. The observed counts varied from 0.20 to 2.10 and from 0.20 to 1.0 UFC / cm² before and after the hygiene of the surgical table, respectively, meeting the international standards recommended for hospital environment. Regarding air quality, there was a low bacterial count in the clean and closed room; occurring an increase in the bacterial count during the intervals of the surgical procedures, probably due to the transit of people (veterinarian, auxiliary and patient); in the sanitization after all the surgeries, there was a reduction in the bacterial count, however, this was higher than the initial count.
