Livros infantis e a censura de 1964 a 1985 no Brasil : raridade das enunciações

Abstract

Aborda a censura a livros infantis no período da Ditadura Militar Brasileira. Pesquisa bibliográfica que investiga a existência de estudos que tratam sobre censura à literatura infantil no período mencionado. Averigua se livros ou histórias infantis da literatura brasileira foram censuradas. Apresenta caso de Ana Maria Machado sobre sua experiência com o assunto estudado. Realiza pesquisas nas bases Red Iberoamericana de Innovación y Conocimiento Científico (REDIB), Base de Dados em Ciência da Informação (BRAPCI), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), LUME, Library and Information Science Abstracts (LISA) e Arquivo Nacional. Verifica que existem diversos estudos sobre o assunto com foco em músicas, filmes, teatro, o profissional bibliotecário, livros adultos, em diversos países da América Latina, mas não apresenta o mesmo volume de estudos sobre a censura em livros infantis na Ditadura Militar do Brasil. Conclui que apesar do resultado negativo, poucos são os estudos sobre o tema na área da Biblioteconomia e propõe novas investigações de forma que o assunto seja trabalhado pela área.

It addresses the censorship of children's books during the period of the Brazilian Military Dictatorship. Bibliographical research that investigates the existence of studies that deal with censorship of children's literature in the mentioned period. Find out if books or children's stories from Brazilian literature were censored. It presents Ana Maria Machado's case about her experience with the subject studied. Conducts research on the bases Red Iberoamericana de Innovación y Conocimiento Científico (REDIB), Base de Dados em Ciência da Informação (BRAPCI), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), LUME, Library and Information Science Abstracts (LISA) and Arquivo Nacional. Checks that there are several studies on the subject focusing on music, films, theater, the professional librarian, adult books, in several Latin American countries, but does not present the same volume of studies on censorship in children's books in the Military Dictatorship of Brazil. It concludes that despite the negative result, few studies on the subject in the field of Librarianship are proposed and new investigations are proposed so that the subject is worked by the area.
