Censura em tempos de guerra : um estudo sobre a destruição dos livros e as bibliotecas de Hitler

Abstract

Investiga, a partir de pesquisas bibliográficas, as bibliotecas de Hitler, fazendo uma relação de três coleções particulares do Führer com os livros destruídos no período nazista. Descreve o contexto histórico e político no Nazismo, assim como as conseqüências da Primeira Guerra Mundial para o surgimento do mesmo, do surgimento do partido, à propaganda nazista e à chegada ao poder. Mostra como a ideologia antissemita se intensificou na Alemanha culminando no Holocausto. Apresenta Adolf Hitler, narrado como um simples Cabo que se tornou o temido líder Nazista, provavelmente em função da leitura. Conceitua a censura, apresentado marcas históricas que a configuram como um mecanismo de controle religioso e político em regimes totalitários. Analisa os livros que fizeram parte da biblioteca de Hitler e que, segundo algumas análises teóricas, poderiam ter moldado a personalidade do Führer, motivo pelo qual destaca-se a importância das obras, algumas presentes nas três bibliotecas particulares que acumulou como um fervoroso colecionador. Descreve as queimas, que foram organizadas por estudantes alemães. Apresenta Joseph Goebbels, incentivador e cérebro das ações. Mostra que muitos livros roubados de bibliotecas públicas e particulares, não foram queimados, mas sim utilizados para estudos. Narra a transformação das bibliotecas e de escolas que se tornaram instrumentos de propaganda Nazista. Finalmente, busca verificar se existem livros que faziam parte do acervo de Hitler que foram censurados e queimados no período da ditadura Nazista.

Investigates, from bibliographical research, the libraries of Hitler, makinga relationship of three private collections of the Führer with the books destroyed in Nazi period. Describes the historical and political context in Nazism, as well as the consequences of World War I for the emergence of the same, the emergence of the party, Nazi propaganda and the coming to power. It shows how the anti-Semitic ideology intensified in Germany, culminating in the Holocaust. Introduces Adolf Hitler, narrated as a simple cable who became the feared Nazi leader, probably due to reading. Conceptualize censorship, presented historical marks that set as one mechanism of religious and political controlin totalitarian regimes. Analyzes the books that they were part of the library of Hitler and that, according to some theorists, could have shaped the Führer's personality, that's why it stands out the importance of books, some present in in the three private libraries which accumulated as a fervent collector. Describes the burnings, which we reorganized by German students. Introduces Joseph Goebbels, promoter and brain of actions. Shows that many books stolen from public and private libraries, were not burned, but rather used for studies. It tells the transformation of libraries and schools that have becomeinstruments in advertising Nazi. Finally, search check if there are books which were part of Hitler's collection who were censored and burned in the period of the Nazi dictatorship.
