A ressignificação dos corpos na história recente das mulheres iranianas : poder e resistência

Abstract

Este artigo aborda as relações de poder imbricadas nos discursos dos regimes pré e pós-revolução no Irã no que diz respeito à ressignificação dos corpos das mulheres iranianas em ambos os períodos. A partir das perspectivas de Michel Foucault e Joan Scott no que diz respeito ao binômio poder-saber e ao gênero enquanto categoria de análise, respectivamente, problematiza-se também os fenômenos desse recorte temporal para dar a ver o papel dessas mulheres enquanto sujeitos ativos na produção de oposições e ressignificação de si mesmas. Dessa maneira, o texto evidencia que a materialização compulsória dos corpos nunca é totalmente completa, pois precisa reiterar-se constantemente devido às resistências agenciadas por eles. A exemplo disso, trazemos neste texto uma análise do véu em seus aspectos biolítico e disciplinar e como, na história recente iraniana, foi ele meio de resistência, mas também dispositivo de conformação e dominação.

This paper discusses the power relations embedded in pre-and post-revolution discourses in Iran regarding the re-signification of the bodies of Iranian women in both periods. From the perspective of Michel Foucault (1985) and Joan Scott (1995), with refference to the binomial power-knowledge and the gender as category of analysis, respectively, also problematizes the phenomena of this temporal cut to see the role of these women as active subjects in the production of oppositions and in the re-signification of themselves. In this way, the text evidences that the compulsory materialization of the bodies is never fully complete, since it needs to be constantly reiterated due to the resistances that they have fought. As an example, in this text we bring an analysis of the veil in its biological and disciplinary aspects and how, in recent Iranian history, it was a means of resistance, but also a device of conformation and domination.
