Abstract

Este artigo pretende investigar a escrita pós-colonial de Isabel Allende em A ilha sob o mar, abarcando as teorias feministas e teorias no âmbito dos Estudos Pós-coloniais considerando que a autora posiciona-se publicamente em suas obras como uma feminista. Portanto, assumese que ela constrói personagens femininas fortes e resilientes, que tomam para si uma voz enunciativa na narrativa.

This article intends to investigate Isabel Allende’s postcolonial writing in the Island beneath the sea, encompassing feminist theories and Post-Colonial Studies theories, considering that the author shows herself as a feminist on her books. Therefore, she constructs strong and resilient female characters, who undertake an enunciative voice in the narrative.
