A sucessão familiar em unidades de produção agrícola é um tema muito discutido atualmente. Este estudo tem como intuito analisar como os jovens rurais percebem a agricultura e o meio rural em vista das suas expectativas de futuro. Como objetivos específicos buscou se identificar o perfil das famílias que atuam na fruticultura e descrever de que modo é tratada a sucessão familiar nas propriedades que atuam na fruticultura. Para tanto, aplicou-se um questionário para um total de vinte jovens rurais. Após, já em posse dos resultados destes questionários, os mesmos foram discutidos em um grupo focal formado por dez jovens de algumas comunidades do município. A partir destes dados foi possível analisar as principais características e os aspectos mais representativos para aqueles que serão ou não um possível sucessor familiar. Os resultados demonstram que nas propriedades onde é desenvolvida a atividade da fruticultura grande parte delas possui um sucessor para a unidade de produção.Senso assim constatou se que fruticultura tem grande importância nas UPAs, principalmente na geração de fonte de renda, assim possibilitando a sucessão familiar. ...

The family succession in agricultural production units is a very discussed nowadays. This study aimed to analyze how young people perceive the rural agriculture and rural areas in view of their future expectations. As specific objectives sought to identify the profile of families engaged in fruit growing and describe how it is treated the family succession in properties that work in horticulture. To this end, a questionnaire was applied to a total of 20 rural youths. After, already in possession of the results of these questionnaires were discussed in a focus group made up of ten young people in some communities of the municipality. From these data it was possible to analyse the main features and the most representative aspects for those who will be a possible successor to familiar. The results show that in the properties where developed fruit growing activity most of them has a successor for the production unit. Sense so found that fruit has great importance in Psus, especially in the generation of income, thus enabling the family succession. ...
