Adoção de sistemas silvipastoris em consórcio com eucalipto na localidade do Faxinal, Arroio dos Ratos/RS

Abstract

O presente trabalho discorreu sobre o monocultivo de eucalipto, e foi analisado sob a perspectiva da prática de sistemas integrados das atividades agrícolas: floresta, lavoura e pecuária. Objetivou-se, em âmbito geral, conhecer, a partir do relato de produtores rurais da localidade do Faxinal, situada no meio rural de Arroio dos Ratos, Rio Grande do Sul quais resultados os mesmos têm obtido com o monocultivo do eucalipto spp. e se há interesse na adoção de sistemas silvipastoris (integração de floresta e pecuária) em consórcio ao monocultivo do eucalipto nessa localidade, sendo este o objetivo geral do presente estudo. De forma específica, pretendeu-se: a) identificar os efeitos causados com o cultivo do eucalipto sem rotação de culturas (monocultivo do eucalipto spp.); b) apresentar uma visão da prática do Sistema Silvipastoril (SSP), no Brasil e no Rio Grande do Sul; e c) as repercussões da adoção desse sistema junto ao cultivo do eucalipto spp.; d) apurar, junto a produtores rurais do município de Arroio dos Ratos, a produtividade e comprometimentos que a prática do monocultivo do eucalipto spp. têm proporcionado. Realizou-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica e um estudo de caso dos produtores rurais da localidade de Faxinal, em Arroio dos Ratos/RS Apurou-se que a concentração de apenas um cultivo tem gerado parcos resultados aos produtores rurais de Arroio dos Ratos que adotam o monocultivo do eucalipto spp. e, como a pequena pecuária já fora praticada e, ainda integra, as atividades produtivas de uma parcela de produtores rurais, embora não de forma consorciada, ainda que foi possível identificar-se o interesse na adoção de sistemas integrados de culturas, indica-se a adoção do sistema silvipastoril em consórcio ao monocultivo do eucalipto spp. aos produtores rurais do Faxinal, em Arroio dos Ratos - RS, visando ampliar a geração de emprego e renda e a adoção de uma produção sustentável.

The present work dealt with the eucalyptus monoculture, and was analyzed from the perspective of the practice of integrated systems of agricultural activities: forest, agriculture and livestock. The objective of this study was to find out from the report of rural producers in the locality of Faxinal, located in the rural area of Arroio dos Ratos, Rio Grande do Sul, which results have been obtained with the monoculture of eucalyptus spp. and if there is interest in the adoption of silvopastoral systems (forest and livestock integration) in a consortium with eucalyptus monoculture in this locality, this being the general objective of the present study. Specifically, it was intended to: a) identify the effects caused by the cultivation of eucalyptus without crop rotation (monoculture of eucalyptus spp.); b) present a vision of the practice of the Silvipastoril System (SSP) in Brazil and Rio Grande do Sul; and c) the repercussions of the adoption of this system with the cultivation of eucalyptus spp .; d) to determine, together with rural producers in the municipality of Arroio dos Ratos, the productivity and commitment that the practice of eucalyptus monoculture spp. have provided A bibliographic research and a case study of the rural producers of the locality of Faxinal, in Arroio dos Ratos / RS, were carried out. It was found that the concentration of only one crop has generated poor results for the rural producers of Arroio dos Ratos who adopt monoculture of eucalyptus spp. and since small livestock farming had already been practiced and still integrates the productive activities of a portion of rural producers, although not in a consortium form, although it was possible to identify the interest in the adoption of integrated crop systems, it is indicated the adoption of the silvopastoral system in consortium to the monoculture of eucalyptus spp. to the rural producers of Faxinal, in Arroio dos Ratos - RS, aiming to increase the generation of employment and income and the adoption of sustainable production.
