Educação física e Facebook : ampliando conteúdos através da interação digital

Abstract

As tecnologias estão presentes no ambiente escolar e é necessário lidar com a nova forma de linguagem desenvolvida por elas, a digital. Segundo pesquisa do Centro Regional de Estudos para o Desenvolvimento da Sociedade da Informação (Cetic.br), 52% dos alunos entre 5º e 9º ano do Ensino Fundamental de áreas urbanas utilizam o celular em atividades escolares. No Ensino Médio, o índice chega a 74%. Essa geração, que se expressa digitalmente, continua tendo aulas analógicas e o professor, muitas vezes, fica perdido dentro desse universo para o qual não foi preparado. Nas aulas de educação física é ainda mais difícil desenvolver atividades digitais pelo conteúdo ligado ao movimento. O objetivo desse relato de experiência é mostrar como professor de educação física e aluno podem comunicar-se de maneira interativa, de forma a potencializar o aprendizado e estimular a autonomia do estudante. Durante a experiência de estágio com uma turma de segundo ano do ensino médio em Porto Alegre, com estudantes de idades entre 16 e 18 anos, foi criado um grupo do Facebook para interagir e ampliar o tempo em contato com os alunos. Além de aproximar alunos e estagiários o grupo serviu para análise de recursos didáticos dentro do ambiente virtual. Diante dos resultados positivos alcançados com o grupo do Facebook da turma 2F da Escola Estadual Padre Rambo de Porto Alegre foi criada uma base de informações a ser analisada de forma a se transformar em uma metodologia a ser utilizada por professores de educação física, sobretudo leigos em redes sociais. É possível acreditar que quanto mais as aulas de Educação Física estiverem relacionadas às redes sociais, melhor a participação e motivação dos alunos. No estudo a seguir serão apresentadas formas de otimizar a prática do uso dessa ferramenta junto com os relatos do uso com a turma 2F.

Technologies are present in the school environment, and it is necessary to deal with the new form of language developed in their wake: the digital language. According to a survey by the Regional Center of Studies for the Development of the Information Society (Cetic.br), 52% of students from the 5th to the 9th year in urban areas use cell phones during school activities. In high school, this number reaches 74%. This generation is used to expressing itself digitally, yet continues to be taught in analogic lessons. Teachers often get lost in this universe to whom they were never prepared. In physical education classes, it is even harder to develop digital activities, due to the nature of the discipline itself, which involves body movement. The purpose of this experience report is to show how physical education teachers and students can communicate in an interactive fashion, to potentiate learning and stimulate students' autonomy. During the internship with a class of 2nd year of high school in the city of Porto Alegre, southern Brazil, with students between 16 and 18 years old, a Facebook group was created to interact and to increase the time in contact with the students. In addition to bringing students and interns together, the group also made it possible to analyze teaching resources within the virtual environment. Taking into account the positive results obtained with the Facebook group of class 2F of the Padre Rambo school in Porto Alegre, a database was created to be analyzed in such a manner as to become a methodology to be used by physical education teachers, especially those not familiar with social networks. It is possible to believe that the more physical education lessons are related to social networks, the better will be student participation and motivation. The study that follows introduces different ways to optimize the use of this tool, and includes opinions by students of class 2F.
