Da forca ao tambor : o museu do percurso como reconhecimento histórico da presença do negro na formação da cidade de Porto Alegre

Abstract

Este trabalho tem como objetivo fundamentar a importância histórica do Tambor como referencia cultural e identitária do negro na cidade de Porto Alegre e em todo Brasil. Para isso é ressaltada, sobretudo, a importância das lutas históricas dos Movimentos Negros da cidade em retirar o negro da situação de invisibilidade social a que foi submetido após o período escravista. Dessa forma, fundamentei a importância do Museu do Percurso do Negro como marco histórico desta luta, da mesma forma que busco traçar brevemente a trajetória do negro em Porto Alegre, em todas suas formas de resistência e reinvenção em um espaço que relegou a sua presença ao esquecimento. O negro que ‘re-existe’ e se ‘re-inventa’ por meio da oralidade e da memória compartilhada busca o reconhecimento da sua contribuição na construção de um patrimônio brasileiro, através do legado à nação de diversas praticas culturais, econômicas e sócias, desmentindo a imagem construída nos projetos oficias de escravidão, invisibilização, estigmatização que usurpou dessa parcela fundante da sociedade porto-alegrense e gaúcha os seus direitos sociais básicos, a existência e a vida. O trabalho fundamentou os principais pontos demarcados de presença dos negros e negras na cidade de Porto Alegre, as politicas de apagamento dessa presença e a luta pelas memorias coletivas e a cultura negra no espaço urbano da cidade. Assim como o processo de ressignificação dessa memória compartilhada através do Tambor, localizado na Praça da Forca, e sua importância para a positivação da história dos negros e negras que marcaram presença com seus corpos, memórias e vidas neste território.

This papperwork aims to fundament the historical importance of the Drum as a cultural and identity reference of the black in the city of Porto Alegre, and throughout Brazil. For this, above all, the importance of the historical struggles of the Black Movements in the city, in removing the black of the situation of social invisibility that was submitted after the slavery period. Thus, I based on the importance of the Museum of the Route of the Black as a historical landmark in this struggle, the same way I seek to trace the trajectory of the black population in Porto Alegre, in all its forms of resistance and reinvention in a space that relegated his presence to oblivion. The afrobrazilian that re-exist and re-invents himself by means of oral traditions and shared memory search in recognition of its contribution in the construction of a heritage brazilian, through the legacy to the nation of various cultural practices, socials and economics, refuting the image constructed in the projects of official of slavery, the world, the stigmatization that usurped this portion of the founding of the society in Porto Alegre and Rio Grande do Sul their basic social rights, the existence and life. The work was based the main points of the marked presence of blacks and black women in the city of Porto Alegre, the policy of the deletion of this presence and the fight for memories and collective black culture in the urban space of the city. As well as the process of re-signification of this shared memory through the Drum, located in the Square from the Gallows, and their importance for the recognition of the history of black people and black women who attended with their bodies, memories and lives in this territory.
