Trajetória de um artista malabarista : pensando a formação circense em Porto Alegre

Abstract

A proposta desse estudo emerge da experiência do pesquisador no campo das artes circenses e da vontade de compreender os caminhos de formação do artista neste contexto. Enxergando a pluralidade de trajetórias no campo profissional dessa área, a pesquisa propõe um recorte: artistas malabaristas não oriundos de famílias circenses ou de circos itinerantes, no contexto da cidade de Porto Alegre. Sendo assim, o objetivo desse trabalho é o de reconhecer os elementos que constituem a formação e o treinamento circense desses artistas, traçando uma rede de relações entre Circo, Dança e Educação Física. A abordagem metodológica parte de um estudo de caso descritivo do malabarista Ivar Mangoni, em diálogo com a trajetória do artista-pesquisador deste estudo, Gabriel Martins. Os materiais de coleta de informação utilizados foram a entrevista semi-estruturada e observações participantes, feitas em espaços de treinamento e ensaio. A partir desses dados, foram enumeradas duas categorias de análise, sendo elas: Trajetória/Formação e Concepções, abordando, assim, respectivamente, aspectos pedagógicos, teóricos e artísticos no campo do Circo. Sendo assim, o estudo mostrou-se relevante no que tange a importância e necessidade de registros e análise de trajetórias no campo circense, bem como contribuiu para a discussão e diálogo entre diferentes áreas de conhecimento.

The proposal of this study emerges from the experience of the researcher in the circus art field as well as the will to understand the artist formation pathways in this context. Being aware of the plurality of trajectories in the professional field of this area, the research proposes a clipping: juggling artists not coming from circus families or itinerant circuses, in the context of the city of Porto Alegre. Therefore, the objective of this work is to recognize the elements that constitute the education and the circus training of these artists, drawing a network of relations between Circus, Dance and Physical Education. The methodological approach starts from a descriptive case study of the juggler Ivar Mangoni in dialogue with the trajectory of the artist-researcher of this study, Gabriel Martins. The data collection materials resulted from the semi-structured interview and the participant observations, obtained in training and test spaces. From these data, two categories of analysis were enumerated: Trajectory/Formation and Conceptions, respectively approaching pedagogical, theoretical and artistic aspects in the area of Circus. Thus, the study was relevant in relation to the importance and necessity of records and analysis of trajectories in the circus domain, as well as contributed to the discussion and dialogue between different areas of knowledge.
