A cidade fotográfica

Abstract

A fotografia sempre foi utilizada como ferramenta de representação e apresentação da arquitetura e da cidade. Entretanto, a realidade visível não se mostra, no registro fotográfico, em sua totalidade e com a mesma precisão e equivalência em todas as situações. É necessário que as demandas fundamentais da fotografia sejam satisfeitas, que são: luz, distância e ordenamento. Propõe-se uma reflexão sobre a possível existência de uma construção imagética com consequências no universo real de uma “cidade fotográfica”. Esta cidade seria uma urbe pensada pela lógica da fotografia, ou seja, que estaria respondendo, prioritariamente, as demandas da fotografia. Busca-se levantar e apresentar que lógica é esta e questionar se esta maneira de ver e pensar fotograficamente a cidade, de certa maneira, distancia as soluções projetuais da sua função básica.

Photography has always been used as a representation tool and presentation of the architecture and of the city. However, the visible reality does not show itself in the photographic registration in its entirety and with the same precision and equivalence in all situations. The basic demands of photography must be met, which are: light, distance and planning. A reflection is proposed about the possible existence of a construction of imagery with consequences in the real universe of a “photographic city”. This city would be one thought out by the logic of photography or, in other words, which would primarily be meeting the demands of photography. The aim is to raise and present what logic it is and wonder if this way of seeing and thinking photographically the city, in a way, it distances the design solutions from its basic function.
