Sexualidade : conhecendo as percepções dos adolescentes

Abstract

O estudo qualitativo de natureza descritiva objetivou conhecer as percepções dos adolescentes sobre o desenvolvimento da sua sexualidade. Utilizou-se a abordagem do Método Criativo e Sensível (MCS) proposto por Cabral (1999) que apresenta uma alternativa para pesquisa em enfermagem através da dinâmica grupal de “oficinas de criatividade e sensibilidade”. Participaram do estudo 12 alunos que possuem entre 11 e 19 anos e que estão cursando a sexta série do ensino fundamental no município de Porto Alegre. Foram realizadas quatro oficinas de criatividade e sensibilidade para a coleta de informações. A análise das informações foi realizada respeitando as seguintes etapas do MCS: a codificação, a decodificação e a recodificação ou aliança de saberes, contextualizada na pedagogia crítico-reflexiva de Freire (1991) e de acordo com a metodologia proposta por Cabral (1999). Os princípios éticos foram respeitados, procurando proteger os direitos dos participantes da pesquisa. O estudo teve aprovação do Comitê de Pesquisa da Escola de Enfermagem da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul e Comitê de Ética da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul para seu desenvolvimento. Da análise emergiram três temas e seus respectivos subtemas. O tema: O ser adolescente: vivenciando conflitos e dificuldades, desvelou as percepções dos adolescentes sobre a conflitiva da adolescência com a formação da identidade da pessoa e todos os aspectos nela envolvidos. O tema: A sexualidade para o adolescente e seus subtemas: A construção de conceitos, Sexualidade e afetividade e Educação sexual, propiciou a desmistificação e o entendimento de comportamentos e atitudes da sexualidade através do debate grupal e da construção de conceitos. Ainda foi visto como está, atualmente, a participação da família na educação sexual. E o tema: O ato sexual e seus respectivos subtemas: A hora certa?, As formas de sexo e A prevenção foram desvelados o momento para se ter à primeira relação sexual e os fatores envolvidos para a tomada dessa decisão. Também foram discutidas nas oficinas as formas de sexo existentes: anal, oral e vaginal e os métodos contraceptivos. Portanto, o estudo foi considerado relevante por desvelar reais interesses dos adolescentes em relação a sua sexualidade durante as oficinas e porque o trabalho poderá contribuir para o estabelecimento de um novo ambiente no contexto da educação sexual e na saúde do escolar e do adolescente.

The qualitative study of descriptive nature have intended knowing the teenagers perceptions on the development of their sexuality. The approach used was the Creative and Sensitive Method (MCS) proposed by Cabral (1999) which presents an alternative to research in nursing through dynamic groups of "creativity and sensitivity workshops". 12 pupils between 11 and 19 years have participated of the study. They are taking the sixth series of fundamental teaching in Porto Alegre city. Four workshops were held for creativity and sensitivity to collect information. Analysis of the information was held with the following stages of MCS: encoding, decoding and recoding or alliance of knowledge, in the context of the Freire´s critical-reflexive pedagogy (FREIRE, 1991) and in accordance with the methodology proposed by Cabral (1999). The ethical principles were respected seeking to protect the search participants’ rights. The study have been approved by the Committee for Research of the Nursing School at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and by the Ethics Committee of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul for its development. Three themes and their subthemes emerged from the analysis. The theme: The teenager: living conflicts and difficulties reveals the teenagers perceptions on the adolescence conflicting with their identity formation and all involved with it. The theme: Sexuality for teenagers and its subthemes: The construction of concepts, Sexuality and affectivity and Sex education provided the demystification and understanding of behavior and attitudes of sexuality through discussion groups and the construction of concepts. It was seen too, how is the family participation in sex education. And the theme: The sexual act and their respective subtheme: There is a time? The forms of sex and Prevention were revealed when to have the first sexual relationship and what leads to making this decision. Also were discussed in workshops existing contraceptives methods and forms of sex: anal, oral and vaginal. Therefore, the study was considered relevant by reveal during the workshops real interests of teenagers on their sexuality and because the work can help to establish a new environment in the context of sex education and health of the teenagers.
