Metonímia sonora da cidade : Porto Alegre dos anos 1980 na voz dos locutores da Rádio Ipanema FM

Abstract

Esta monografia tem como objetivo principal compreender, a partir da perspectiva do locutor, como a rádio Ipanema FM construiu vínculos de pertencimento a Porto Alegre por meio do rock and roll nos anos de 1980. O presente trabalho visa contribuir com novos conhecimentos sobre esta temática de relevância histórica para o setor radiofônico no estado. Contempla um referencial teórico sobre os vínculos entre o rádio e a cidade, abrangendo também a frequência modulada, o segmento musical em rádio e o rock nacional e gaúcho. Apresenta uma história oral da estação, realizada por meio de entrevistas com três dos principais locutores da trajetória do canal. Analisa os vínculos de pertencimento estabelecidos pela Ipanema FM com base em três núcleos temáticos, organizados a partir dos testemunhos obtidos: a relação com o bairro Bom Fim, a inserção do rock gaúcho na programação e a identificação do público com o perfil alternativo. Conclui que tais vínculos foram construídos em função da proximidade geográfica com o bairro Bom Fim, centro cultural e metonímia de Porto Alegre na década de 1980; da consolidação do rock gaúcho, amparado por um ideal de valorização das manifestações locais e pelo sucesso do gênero; e da cumplicidade entre o ouvinte e a emissora, que repercutia o perfil alternativo que ligava ambos.

The main focus of this monograph is to understand, from the speaker's perspective, such as Ipanema FM radio built links of belonging to Porto Alegre through the rock and roll in the 1980s. The present work aims to contribute to new knowledge about this relevant theme story for the radio industry in the state. It includes an oral history of the station, conducted through interviews with three of the main announcers of the channel path. It analyzes the links of belonging established by Ipanema FM based on three core themes, organized from the testimonies obtained: the relationship with the neighborhood Bom Fim, the insertion of the gaucho rock in programming and the public to identify with the alternate profile. It concludes that such links were built according to the geographical proximity of the Bom Fim, cultural center and metonymy of Porto Alegre in the 1980s; consolidation of the gaucho rock, supported by an ideal of valuing local events and the success of the genre; and the complicity between the listener and the broadcaster, which reflected the alternate profile linking both.
