Diagnóstico e tratamento da anquilose alveolodentária : revisão de literatura

Abstract

A anquilose alveolodentária é uma anomalia de erupção definida como a fusão anatômica do cemento da raiz do dente ao osso alveolar. A sua causa não está bem definida, mas pode ser associada com o traumatismo dentário, distúrbio metabólico ou predisposição genética. O tipo de tratamento de anquilose vai depender se o dente anquilosado é decíduo ou permanente, do tempo de início da anomalia, da época do diagnóstico, da existência ou não de dentes sucessores, do padrão de erupção e severidade da infra-oclusão e da relação dos dentes anquilosados com os adjacentes e antagonistas. O objetivo do presente trabalho é caracterizar a anquilose alvéolo dentária, sua etiologia e diagnóstico e apresentar condutas indicadas para o tratamento desta patologia. Foi realizada uma revisão de literatura em base de dados confiável, com as seguintes palavras: anquilose alveolodentária.

The dentoalveolar ankylosis is an anomaly defined as the anatomical fusion of the tooth root cementum to the alveolar bone. It´s cause is not well defined, but it can be associated with dental trauma, metabolic disorders or genetic predisposition. The type of treatment will depend on if the ankylosed teeth is deciduous or permanent, the start time of the anomaly, the time of diagnosis, the presence or absence of teeth sucessors, the eruption pattern and the infra occlusion severity and the relationship ankylosed teeth with adjacent and antagonists. The objective of this study is to characterize the dentoalveolar ankylosis, it´s etiology and diagnosis and present behavior indicated for the treatment of this pathology. There will be a literature review on the reliable database, with the following words: dentoalveolar ankylosis.
