Autocrítica de la enunciación : Fragmentos de un discurso amoroso y sus márgenes

Abstract

Fragmentos de un discurso amorosopresenta un dispositivo textual y enunciativo que hasta ahora ha pasado desapercibido. La hipótesis de la que parte el presente ensayo es que este dispositivo tan peculiar hace posible una suerte de autocrítica que el mismo Roland Barthes ha denominado “autocrítica de la enunciación”: el sujeto amoroso se expresa volviendo críticamente sobre su discurso. Para comprobar esta hipótesis, mostramos, en primer lugar, lo que este dispositivo debe al proyecto de semiología literaria concebido y puesto en marcha por Barthes en su enseñanza y en su escritura. Enseguida, subrayamos la materialidad discursiva de este dispositivo al analizar diversos efectos semánticos producidos por los nombres inscritos en los márgenes del libro, particularmente el del psicoanalista Donald Winnicott.

Fragments d’un discours amoureux reveals a textual and enunciative apparatus that has hitherto gone unnoticed. The hypothesis underlying the present paper is that this very particular apparatus allows for a kind of self-critique, which Roland Barthes himself calls ‘the self-critique of enunciation’: the lover expresses himself while at the same time critically reviewing his discourse. To confirm this hypothesis, we first show what such an apparatus owes to the project of literary semiology conceived and implemented by Barthes in his teaching and writing. We then highlight the discursive materiality of this apparatus, by analyzing various semantic effects produced by the names inscribed in the margins of the book, particularly the name of the psychoanalyst Donald Winnicott.

Fragments d’un discours amoureux présente un dispositif textuel et énonciatif qui est resté jusqu’ici inaperçu. L’hypothèse conduisant le présent essai est que ce dispositif, très particulier, permet une sorte d’autocritique, que Roland Barthes appelle lui-même «autocritique de l’énonciation»: le sujet amoureux s’y exprime en opérant un retour critique sur son discours. Pour confirmer cette hypothèse, nous montrons d’abord ce qu’un tel dispositif doit au projet de sémiologie littéraire conçuet mis en œuvre par Barthes dans son enseignement et son travail d’écriture. Par la suite, nous mettons en avant la matérialité discursive de ce dispositif, en analysant divers effets sémantiques produits par les noms inscrits dans les marges du livre, enparticulier le nom du psychanalyste Donald Winnicott.
