Continuidades e rupturas : relendo um texto fundamental sobre ciberjornalismo

Abstract

O artigo discute o texto Ruptura, continuidade e potencialização no jornalismo online: o lugar da memória (Palacios, 2003). A partir da proposta original daquele texto e com mais uma década de distanciamento, apresentam-se argumentos em favor da identificação de mais duas rupturas entre o jornalismo em impressos, rádio ou televisão e o ciberjornalismo: a interatividade e a ubiquidade. Além disso, o artigo propõe uma revisão das características do ciberjornalismo propostas naquele texto.

This essay discusses the text Rupture, continuity and potentiation in online journalism: the place of memory (Palacios, 2003). From the original proposal of that text and with more than a decade of distance, it seeks to review the ideas presented at the time. Next, this paper offers an update on the characteristics of cyberjournalism proposed in Palacios' original work and lists some arguments in favor of identifying another rupture, beyond the Digital characteristic of memory, between journalism in print, radio or television and cyberjournalism: interactivity, journalism.
