Políticas indigenistas : contribuições para a agenda de educação permanente

Abstract

Partimos do entendimento de que a compreensão dos processos sócio históricos que se deram com os povos originários deste país, o conhecimento dos direitos indígenas, seus modos de ser e viver são condições para a atuação profissional no âmbito das políticas de proteção social, assim como para a defesa intransigente dos direitos humanos. Este texto socializa partes das revisões e reflexões teóricas de um coletivo de pesquisadoras indígenas e não indígenas, discorrendo sobre a importância das políticas indigenistas na agenda formativa dos trabalhadores das políticas sociais, numa tentativa de abordar concepções e apontar algumas legislações, citando como exemplos a saúde e a assistência social para contribuir com o debate.

Starting from the understanding that the comprehension of the socio-historical processes that took place with the native peoples of this country, the knowledge of indigenous rights, their ways of being and living are conditions for professional action within the scope of social protection policies, as well as for the uncompromising defense of human rights. This text socializes parts of the theoretical reviews and reflections of a collective of indigenous and non-indigenous researchers, discussing the importance of indigenous policies in the training agenda of social policy workers, in an attempt to address conceptions and point out some legislation, citing health and social assistance as examples to contribute to the debate.
