Abstract

As ações em defesa dos direitos humanos têm sua referência principal na Declaração Universal dos Direitos Humanos que surge após a Segunda Guerra entre as Nações reunidas na Conferência de Yalta, Ucrânia, em 1945, estabelecendo as bases de uma futura "paz", definindo áreas de influência das potências e a criação de uma Organização multilateral que promova negociações sobre conflitos internacionais, para evitar guerras e promover a paz, a democracia e os Direitos Humanos. A Assembleia Geral das Organizações das Nações Unidas de 10 de dezembro de 1948 adotou a Declaração Universal dos Direitos Humanos como base para a construção de um novo mundo sustentado por ideias que promovessem a paz e evitassem a guerra. Atualmente, a luta pelos direitos humanos e a pesquisa científica tem ampliado os espaços de ação como o direito à moradia, ao acesso à educação, etc. O objetivo deste trabalho é discutir os fundamentos histórico-filosóficos adotados na Declaração Universal dos Direitos Humanos e os processos socioculturais hoje presentes no debate sobre a elaboração de novos direitos para a vivência cidadã e para discutirmos a dimensão ética da educação como pressuposto de um novo projeto pedagógico para um mundo de paz. O estudo pretende contribuir na discussão sobre questões relacionadas aos direitos humanos, principalmente na denúncia e luta contra o racismo, a homofobia, a fome, a exclusão social, a destruição ambiental, enfim, contra todo tipo de violência que atinge os seres humanos nos mais variados contextos. Nosso interesse é contribuir para o debate atual sobre os direitos humanos e o desenvolvimento de processos que educam para a convivência humana, a inclusão social e a paz.

The actions in defence of human rights have their main reference in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which arises after the War between the nations involved in the Yalta Conference, Ukraine, in 1945, establishing the foundations of a future "peace", defining the influence of nations and the creation of an organisation that promotes multilateral negotiations on international conflicts, to prevent wars and promote peace, democracy and human rights. On December 10, 1948, The General Assembly of the United Nations Organisation adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as the basis for building a new world supported by ideas that promote peace and avoid war. Currently, the struggle for human rights and scientific research has expanded the opportunities for action such as the right to housing, access to education, etc. The aim of this paper is to discuss the historical and philosophical foundations adopted in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the social and cultural processes involved in the debate on the establishment of new rights for the citizen experience and to discuss the ethical dimension of education as a precondition for a new educational project for a world of peace. The study aims to contribute to the discussion on questions related to human rights, especially in the complaint and the fight against racism, homophobia, hunger, social exclusion, environmental destruction, finally, against all types of violence affecting humans in various contexts. Our interest is to contribute to the current debate on human rights and developing processes that educate for human coexistence, social inclusion and peace
