Práticas e usos de mídias : um estudo de caso com docentes da rede pública

Abstract

O estudo objetiva compreender por meio de um questionário online com perguntas abertas e fechadas as implicações nas práticas pedagógicas do uso de diferentes mídias por docentes do 3º Ano do Ensino Médio de uma escola rede pública estadual do município de Ijuí (RS). A pesquisa buscou tematizar sobre à condição da escola e a fluência digital dos docentes, a respeito de suas práticas pedagógicas na convergência com Mídias e Tecnologias. O aporte teórico fundamenta-se nas compreensões sobre as mídias e/na educação. A pesquisa é qualitativa e quantitativa e, se caracteriza como um estudo de caso. Os resultados indicam que o: 1) O principal fator limitante no uso das mídias e de mudanças significativas nas práticas pedagógicas dos docentes é a falta de conhecimento, o que implica na constituição do conhecimento docente para/ com as mídias, seja na formação inicial e/ ou continuada; 2) A Internet e o Computador auxiliam positivamente na elaboração e construção do planejamento dos docentes; 3) A falta de recursos tecnológicos nas escolas é um grande entrave na democratização do uso das mídias e das TIC; 4) A autonomia do professor na aprendizagem das mídias e; por fim, 5) O papel e o lugar dos cursos sobre mídias e TIC ofertados pelas respectivas Coordenadorias de Educação.

The objective of this study is to understand, through an online questionnaire with open and closed-ended questions, the implications of the use of different media by teachers of the senior year in a state public school in the city of Ijuí, state of Rio Grande do Sul. The research sought to thematize about the condition of the school and the digital fluency of the teachers, regarding their pedagogical practices in the convergence with Media and Technologies. The theoretical contribution is based on the understanding of the media and / or education. The research is qualitative and quantitative and is characterized as a case study. The results indicate that: 1) The main limiting factor in the use of the media and significant changes in teachers' pedagogical practices is the lack of knowledge, which implies the constitution of the teacher knowledge to / from the media, / or continued; 2) The Internet and the Computer help positively in the elaboration and construction of the teachers' planning; 3) The lack of technological resources in schools is a major obstacle to the democratization of the use of media and ICTs; 4) The autonomy of the teacher in the learning of the media; finally, 5) The role and place of the courses on media and ICT offered by the respective Education Coordination.
