BREXIT : o Reino Unido face ao projeto de integração europeia

Abstract

Este trabalho foi elaborado com o intuito de criar uma compreensão dos eventos ao redor da decisão tomada em referendo pela saída do Reino Unido da União Europeia. Para tanto, o presente trabalho busca analisar os eventos e motivações por trás da criação do projeto de integração europeu, compreender os motivos que fazem com que o Reino Unido tardiamente passe a se tornar membro desse mesmo projeto, e, por fim, avaliar o que motivou a ocorrência do referendo e o resultado do mesmo.

This work was elaborated with the aim of building an understanding of the events around the decision taken through a referendum of the United Kingdom ending it’s membership of the European Union. With this goal, this work attempts to analyze the events and motivations surrounding the beginnings of the European integration project, the reasons that led to the United Kingdom joining this project at a later date, at the end, evaluate what brought the taking place of this referendum and it’s result.
