A evasão de jovens do meio rural : um estudo de caso realizado na comunidade pinhalzinho, bom Progresso-RS

Abstract

Este trabalho de conclusão de curso se insere dentro do âmbito de pesquisa social e de desenvolvimento rural, e visa, por meio desta fomentar alternativas viáveis para problemas sociais no que se refere ao êxodo rural, em especial os problemas como envelhecimento da população e a falta de sucessão familiar. Para tanto, a pesquisa se realizou com agricultores moradores da Comunidade Pinhalzinho situada no município de Bom Progresso/- RS, com os seguintes objetivos: a) Conhecer os motivos que levam a juventude rural da comunidade de Pinhalzinho migrar para meio urbano; b) Identificar as razões da permanência de alguns jovens no meio rural no local em estudo; c) Analisar os fatores que determinam a permanência e a migração dos jovens no contexto estudado. A proposta de metodologia para está pesquisa foi um estudo de caso com visitas a campo e a realização de entrevistas semi-estruturadas realizadas com agricultores da comunidade em estudo. Propôs-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica da realidade local, como também se buscou leituras de autores conceituados sobre êxodo rural, para que assim pudesse compreender, de modo mais abrangente, a realidade em estudo.

This work of completion falls within the scope of social research and rural development, and aims to promote viable alternatives to social problems with regard to rural exodus, especially problems such as aging of the population and lack of family succession. For this, the research was carried out with farmers living in the Pinhalzinho Community located in Bom Progresso / RS, with the following objectives: a) To know the reasons that lead the rural youth of the Pinhalzinho community to migrate to urban areas; b) To identify the reasons of the permanence of some young people in the rural environment in the place under study; c) To analyze the factors that determine the permanence and the migration of the young people in the studied context. The proposed methodology for this research was a case study with field visits and semi-structured interviews with farmers in the study community. A bibliographical research of the local reality was proposed, as well as readings of authors reputed about rural exodus, so that it could comprehend, in a more comprehensive way, the reality under study.
