Os mundos possíveis na arte contemporânea brasileira do século XXI

Abstract

Esta pesquisa trata da criação de realidades alternativas e ficcionais na arte contemporânea brasileira do século XXI. Para tanto, são analisadas obras de quatro artistas referenciais deste período: Nara Amelia, Bruno Moreschi, Ruth Sousa e Michel Zózimo. Através de uma abordagem que aproxima essas propostas artísticas da teoria dos mundos possíveis de Gottfried Leibniz por meio dos estudos de Anne Cauquelin, Lubomír Doležel e, especialmente, Nelson Goodman, esta monografia traz visibilidade a uma temática que está presente nos trabalhos da arte atual e que ainda permanece negligenciada pela História da Arte.

This research deals with creation of alternative and ficcional realities in the 21st century brazilian contemporary art. For that, the works of four renowned artists from this time are studied here: Nara Amelia, Bruno Moreschi, Ruth Sousa and Michel Zózimo. Through an approach that brings this artistic propositions closer to Gottfried Leibniz’s possible worlds theory by the studies of Anne Cauquelin, Lubomír Doležel and, specially, Nelson Goodman, this monography brings visibility to a subject that is present in nowadays art works and that still remains neglected by the Art History.
