O Brasil e os mecanismos antidumping no comércio internacional

Abstract

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo identificar o processo da utilização das medidas antidumping pelo Brasil, bem como estabelecer uma relação entre o uso de tal medida no contexto mundial e no país. O trabalho também analisa o dumping nos seus aspectos econômico e legal (por meio dos procedimentos normativos nacionais e no âmbito da OMC) a fim de vincular tais aspectos em uma abordagem prática de denúncia de dumping sofrido pelo Brasil. Uma breve análise do processo de abertura comercial comparado com o número de inícios de medidas antidumping pelo Brasil, a fim de verificar se realmente houve aumento dessas medidas após tal fato.

This study aims to identify the process of using antidumping measures by Brazil, as well as to establish a relationship between the use of this tools in the global context and in the country. It also analyzes dumping in its economic and legal aspects (through national laws and the WTO) in order to link these aspects with an applied approach of a dumping denounce case that has Brazil as the complainant. A brief analysis of trade liberalization compared with the number of initiation of antidumping measures by Brazil in order to verify that there was indeed such an increase in these measures after the liberalization.
