Uma conversa entre telas: o imaginário de Vincent van Gogh no cinema de Akira Kurosawa

Abstract

O trabalho consiste na análise do episódio Corvos do filme Sonhos (1990) do diretor Akira Kurosawa. Tem o intuito de perceber como se dá a construção de imaginário do diretor a respeito do pintor Van Gogh, a partir do estudo de como ele trabalha a narrativa de seus sonhos, que versam sobre as obras do pintor Van Gogh. Para tanto se procurou entender a relação que a pintura e o cinema têm na visão de teóricos que versam sobre a fenomenologia e o ato de percepcionar tanto a pintura quanto o cinema, trabalhando as relações do visível ao imaginário. Traz também uma leitura do cinema como forma de expressão poética, e de como a cor é vista na pintura e no cinema. Buscou-se perceber a relação da memória, o sonho e o imaginário no contexto das artes e no que condiz ao artista e sua construção a partir destes fenômenos psíquicos.

This work consists in the analysis of the episode Crows of the movie Dreams (1990) from the director Akira Kurosawa. It has the intention of perceiving how does the construction of the director‟s imaginary about the painter Van Gogh, from the study of how Akira works the narrative of his dreams that discourse on the works of Van Gogh. So we tried to understand the relation that painting and cinema have in the vision of theorists that discusses about the phenomenology and the act of percept both painting and cinema, working the relations from the visible to the imaginary. It brings a reading of cinema as a way of poetic expression, of how the color is seen in painting and cinema. Sought to realize the relation between memory, dream and imaginary in the context of arts and in what matches the artist and his construction from the psych phenomena.
