Abordagem artística da cultura afro-brasileira no contexto da educação básica

Abstract

O trabalho enfoca a cultura afro-brasileira e sua abordagem na escola básica, a partir de experiências artísticas e pedagógicas unindo teatro, musicalidade e cultura africana. São relatados espetáculos teatrais apresentados em circuito local e uma experiência pedagógica desenvolvida no contexto escolar envolvendo a temática dos mitos africanos e suas representações arquetípicas. As reflexões decorrentes dessa experiência, em relação com os conceitos e teorias que fundamentaram seus processos de criação, trazem contribuições para o ensino do teatro e para o desenvolvimento de conteúdos referentes à cultura afro-brasileira no meio escolar.

This work focus on the Afro-Brazilian culture and it's approach in the basic school, from artistic and pedagogic experiences including theater, music and other forms of African expression. Theatrical presentations are reported in local circuit, and one pedagogic experience is done in the school context, involving themes from African myths and their archetypal representations. The reflections arising from this experience, in relations to the concepts and theories that ground their process of creation, bring contributions to the teaching of theater and the development of its contents regarding the Afro-Brazilian culture in the school environment.
