Juventude rural e a permanência no campo : um olhar sobre as perspectivas dos jovens rurais filhos de agricultores familiares do Distrito de Morrinhos no município de São Jerônimo

Abstract

Este estudo discute os resultados de uma pesquisa que teve como objetivo compreender os motivos que levam os jovens rurais do Distrito de Morrinhos no município de São Jerônimo a permanecer ou não no meio rural. Para tanto, a investigação contou com a participação de oito jovens que, através de entrevistas semi-estruturadas falaram a respeito das suas perspectivas futuras, das relações familiares, da formação educacional que almejam, das suas trajetórias e, sobretudo dos seus projetos de vida. Assim, para a interpretação desta realidade o ponto de partida foi a imersão na produção acadêmica que trata das juventudes e em especial da juventude rural. A partir da teoria foi possível analisar as características dos jovens participantes desta pesquisa e também compreender os motivos pelos quais há muitas décadas os jovens brasileiros migram do meio rural para o meio urbano em busca de um modo de vida diferente da vida dos seus pais. Percebi através da pesquisa que o jovem rural acompanha o contexto de mudanças da sociedade e que se torna cada vez mais atuante nesse processo ganhando visibilidade no contexto social, político, cultural e econômico.

This thesis discusses the results of a survey that aimed to understand the reasons that lead the young rural district of Morrinhos in the municipality of St. Jerome to remain or not in rural areas. To this end, the research included the participation of eight young people who, through semi-structured interviews talked about their future prospects, family relations, education that aims, their trajectories and above all of their life projects. So, for the interpretation of this reality the starting point was immersion in academic work dealing with the youth and in particular of rural youth. From the theory it was possible to identify the characteristics of young participants of this research and also understand the reasons why many decades the young Brazilians flock to the rural areas urban areas in search of a way of life different from the lives of his parents. Realized through research that the young man with the rural context of changes in society and is becoming increasingly active in the process gaining visibility in the context of social, political, cultural and economic.
