Este trabalho de Conclusão do Curso de Especialização em Gestão de Negócios Financeiros constituiu-se de algumas das principais teorias sobre Motivação, estudos sobre Reestruturação e um histórico do Banco Melhor S/A, passando pelos primeiros planos de incentivos e de demissões voluntárias como um dos instrumentos utilizados para redução do quadro funcional e reestruturação dos processos, com o objetivo de adaptação as novas necessidades competitivas do setor. Ainda, esta monografia tem como objetivo principal identificar como os funcionários percebem sua motivação após um processo de reestruturação. Foram questionados 18 funcionários na fase quantitativa, que é o quadro atual, e que foi foco do processo de reestruturação e 11 na qualitativa, ou seja, na entrevista. A amostra foi definida, pela disponibilidade e acessibilidade, mas principalmente por saturação nas respostas. Primeiramente através de um questionário fechado, com uma parte sobre o perfil do respondente e outra com seguinte questionamento: Dê pesos graduais no que você considera mais importante para manter-se motivado para o trabalho. O que determinou 3 variáveis mais importantes, salário, reconhecimento e ascensão profissional, e 2 (duas) menos importantes, status e benefício. Após elaborou-se um roteiro para entrevista semi estruturada, com perguntas abertas, no propósito de fazer um link das variáveis mais e menos importes e a percepção dos funcionários em relação a possibilidades de mudanças motivacionais percebidas do período anterior e posterior ao processo de reestruturação. No que concluímos ter havido um decréscimo, do que os funcionários conceituam como motivação, por considerarem um desprestígio e falta de reconhecimento pelo trabalho em si. ...
