O artigo divide-se em duas partes. A primeira analisa o Programa 5S de administração, nascido no Japão no final da década de 60, e o estilo participativo de gerenciamento organizacional. This article consists of two parts. The first analyses the Administration’s 5S’s Program, borned in Japan on the last 60s, and the Participatory Style of Organizational Management. The second part exposes an experience in the coapplication of these two forms of management in an Universitary Library.
