O trabalho parte de uma realidade vivenciada em muitas escolas, são as dificuldades com relação às habilidades sociais de leitura e escrita, onde os alunos, em função de um ensino tradicional, pouco exercitam estas práticas, cada vez mais necessárias, no mundo atual. O trabalho foi desenvolvido no ambiente escolar, com alunos de pós-alfabetização e vem mostrar como a utilização do computador e da internet auxilia a leitura e a escrita. Esses conceitos, ancorados principalmente nos estudos de Magda Soares (2003), estão diretamente relacionados a idéia de letramento, que compreende a leitura e a escrita como práticas sociais. Um trabalho voltado a atender essas necessidades, envolve inovação pedagógica e inovação tecnológica. A aplicação dos projetos de aprendizagens, especialmente por partir de uma questão norteadora formulada segundo as curiosidades e interesses dos alunos, representa uma inovação pedagógica que, apoiada em tecnologias da informação e da comunicação, possibilita o desenvolvimento de novos processos cognitivos. O contato com diferentes tipos de textos é o que mobiliza esse desenvolvimento. O aparato tecnológico, como os blogs e a internet, são fundamentais no processo de aprimoramento da leitura e da escrita, pois proporcionam aos alunos a vivência de situações em que os textos exercem uma função social, mais interacional. Essa experiência com a tecnologia envolve o domínio das ferramentas tecnológicas. Tal domínio compreende o que Soares denomina letramento digital. Esse processo se desenvolve conforme as necessidades e interesses do sujeito, ou seja, ele mobiliza os recursos tecnológicos conforme seus objetivos, que são sempre sociais, de interação. reflexão em torno dessas questões se iniciou durante o estágio curricular realizado em uma turma de alunos do 2º ano do Ensino Fundamental. Nesse período, o trabalho com os alunos se desenvolveu, a partir da arquitetura pedagógica dos projetos de aprendizagens. Tal arquitetura envolve um trabalho de pesquisa, apoiado em tecnologias, realizada em grupos de acordo com os interesses dos alunos. As diferentes etapas de construção do projeto de aprendizagem (pergunta, certezas, dúvidas, síntese), são registrados em ambiente virtual, o blog. Esses registros constituem parte dos dados utilizados nessa pesquisa. A partir desses dados, procedeu-se às análises que apontaram uma significativa mudança na escrita, observada na organização de idéias, na compreensão da importância de reescrever, de ampliar o texto, na preocupação com a acentuação, pontuação e ortografia em função principalmente, da existência de leitores reais, já que o espaço do blog é público. O aprimoramento na leitura se mostrou na capacidade de selecionar e analisar o material coletado, separando apenas o que está diretamente ligado a pergunta norteadora. As novas habilidades de leitura e escrita passam a ser percebidas também no caderno dos alunos, na construção de cada texto impresso ou digital. As tecnologias são ferramentas que potencializam as aprendizagens, principalmente quando parte de uma metodologia que considera a curiosidade e a realidade do aluno, onde a professora passa a ser mediadora e provocadora, destas novas formas de interação, autonomia e aprendizagem. ...
