Adolescência e(m) teatro : um estudo da recepção teatral dos adolescentes em relação ao espetáculo Adolescer

Abstract

Este trabalho tem por objeto de investigação um espetáculo teatral gaúcho, há nove anos em cartaz, direcionado a espectadores adolescentes: Adolescer. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo que analisa, por meio da recepção do público em relação à peça, os elementos constituintes da montagem para, assim, averiguar os aspectos que conferem sucesso ao espetáculo. O estudo se desenvolve com base em teorias da recepção teatral e da pedagogia do espectador. A partir de questionários e de conversas em grupo realizados com espectadores, estabelecem-se os componentes da representação e fatores presentes na montagem que promovem a identificação do público, como os personagens ou situações da peça, além de se buscar traçar algumas características do adolescente atual. A adolescência mostrada na peça, a adolescência vivida nas realidades dos jovens e as inter-relações resultantes do processo de recepção teatral são os fatores motivadores deste trabalho.

This work seeks to investigate a gaucho theatrical spectacle called Adolescer, which has been running for over nine years and is aimed at teenage audiences. Through the reception of the play by the audience, it analyzes qualitatively the elements that constitute the staging process in order to verify the aspects that grant success to the spectacle. The study is based on theatrical reception theories and on the spectator pedagogy. By means of surveys and group interviews with the audience, the components and factors of the staging process are established, such as the characters and the situations, which promote the identification with the audience. Furthermore, it attempts to outline a somewhat faithful profile of today‟s teenager. Adolescence, as shown in the play and lived by the youth, and the interrelations resulted from the theatrical reception process are the factors which motivated this work.
