“Pegar, ficar, namorar...” jovens mulheres e suas práticas afetivo-sexuais na contemporaneidade

Abstract

A problemática focalizada neste estudo envolveu questionar algumas práticas afetivo-sexuais contemporâneas, usualmente associadas aos/às jovens, particularmente as nomeadas como pegar, ficar e namorar. Nele também foram colocados em destaque discursos invocados para dar sustentação a tais práticas e que engendram representações acerca das mesmas. O estudo foi conduzido a partir de discussões conduzidas com três grupos de jovens mulheres estudantes de uma escola de Ensino Fundamental, da rede pública municipal, localizada em um bairro periférico de um município da região metropolitana de Porto Alegre, RS, cujas idades variavam de 13 a 16 anos, tendo como campos inspiradores os Estudos Culturais e os Estudos de Gênero e Sexualidade, que seguem o pensamento pós-estruturalista. Procedeu-se a análises culturais para compor as narrativas pinçadas nos depoimentos das participantes, tendo-se organizado os encontros que os possibilitaram a partir de uma aproximação da abordagem metodológica Grupo Focal. Em tais encontros buscou-se problematizar os modos de viver a sexualidade juvenil, procurando, ao mesmo tempo, circular no contexto sócio-cultural em que essas jovens vivenciaram tais práticas. Nos relatos dessas jovens foi possível identificar algumas modificações de algumas práticas afetivo-sexuais, quando essas foram comparadas a outras caracterizadas como peculiares a outras épocas e contextos sociais. É interessante indicar, no entanto, que as jovens participantes do estudo acatavam em muitos aspectos, dentre as quais destaco as aspirações de relacionamentos pautados nos ideiais de amor romântico e heretonormativos, a partir de discursos morais professados por suas famílias e pela escola e, de um modo geral, evidenciando o quando julgavam as práticas alheias e externavam suas aspirações futuras relativamente a seus relacionamentos afetivo-sexuais. Mas, cabe considerar, que a sexualidade envolve também desejos, carne, fluxos e, desde este ponto de vista, tudo se torna menos determinado, mais escorregadio, e por isso cheio de contradições continuidades e descontinuidades, que impregnam as práticas que focalizei. Cabe registrar, ainda, que a escola foi referida pelas participantes do estudo como um dos principais locais de sociabilidade e vivência de experiências afetivo-sexuais.

The problem focused in this study involved questioning some practices affective and sexual contemporary, usually associated with the young people, especially those named as pick up, stay and dating. There were also placed emphasis on discourses invoked to give support to such practices and to engender representations about them. The study was conducted from discussions with three groups of young women students of a Primary school, of the municipal health system, located in a peripheral area of the municipality of the metropolitan area of Porto Alegre, RS, whose ages ranged from 13 to 16 years, with the fields which inspired the Cultural Studies and the Studies of Gender and sexuality, which follow the thought post-structuralist.There has been cultural analysis to compose narratives clamped in the testimonies of participants, is organized meetings that possible from a methodological approach to the focus group approach. In these meetings we tried to problematize the ways of experiencing teenage sexuality, looking at the same time, circulate in the socio-cultural context in which these young people experienced such practices. In the accounts of these young people were able to identify some changes in some affective and sexual practices, when these were compared to other characterized as peculiar to other times and social contexts. It is interesting to note, however, that the young study participants deferred to in many ways, among which we highlight the aspirations of relationships guided the ideals of romantic love and heretonormativos from moral discourse professed by their families and school, and In general, highlighting the practices when they thought of others and express their aspirations for their future affective and sexual relationships. But, it should be borne in mind that sexuality involves also desires, meat, flows and, from this point of view, everything becomes less determined, more slippery, and therefore full of contradictions continuities and discontinuities, that permeate the practices that i have focused on. It is registering, still, that the school was referred to by the participants of the study as one of the main places of sociability and experiences emotional-sexual.
