Este trabajo presenta propuestas de emplear el folklore como temática motivadora, aplicada a la Enseñanza del Español como Lengua Extranjera en las clases para niños de 8 a 12 años. Para desarrollar la práctica pedagógica, se sugiere un proyecto con la utilización de leyendas como expresión del folklore, provenientes de los países hispanohablantes: Argentina y Paraguay y también de Brasil. Las leyendas son historias muy atractivas para el público infantil, pues contienen lo Maravilloso que, de acuerdo con el Psicoanálisis, es un elemento esencial en la construcción de la personalidad principalmente, en la infancia. De esa forma se suscita, a través de esa temática, la valoración de diferentes culturas, el intercambio cultural y la adquisición de una nueva lengua. A la vez, además de propiciar el conocimiento sobre el folklore de su propio país y de otros países, fomenta el interés por la Literatura Infantil y, en consecuencia, por la lectura, favoreciendo el rescate de la fantasía lo que permite momentos de deleite que son muy importante para la superación de los conflictos del cotidiano. ...

This work presents a proposal of using the folklore as a stimulating theme, applied to the teaching of Spanish as foreign language, with children from 8 up to 12 years old. This work presents a proposal of using the folklore as a stimulating theme, applied to the teaching of Spanish as foreign language, with children from 8 up to 12 years old. To develop the pedagogical practice, preferably in a project, we suggest the use of legends as expression of Spanish-speaking countries’ folklore (Argentina and Paraguay) and Brazil's. The legends are very attractive stories for children, because they contain the 'marvelous' which is, in psychoanalysis, an essential factor in the personality's building in childhood. Thus through this theme it is possible the appreciation of different cultures, the cultural interchange and a new language's acquisition. By the same way, besides learning it's own country's folklore and from neighbours countries, it stimulates the interest for children's literature and as a result, for reading. This makes possible the recovery of the fantasy that allows moments of pleasure, and that is important for the solution of daily conflicts. ...
