A passagem de locutor a sujeito da enunciação em L2 : um olhar enunciativo da aquisição

Abstract

O presente trabalho busca verificar os mecanismos linguísticos que marcam a passagem de locutor a sujeito no processo de aquisição de uma segunda língua (L2). Tendo por amparo teórico a Linguística da Enunciação de Émile Benveniste, este trabalho propõe um olhar enunciativo sobre a análise de dados em sala de aula de L2. Para tanto, um resgate teórico com relação aos estudos de Linguística Aplicada é feito, considerando o histórico de pesquisas na área de aquisição de linguagem. Em um segundo momento, é exposta a complexidade na leitura da obra benvenistiana, bem como a apresentação dos artigos que trazem os conceitos que fundamentam a análise dos dados deste trabalho. São alguns deles: subjetividade, intersubjetividade, locutor, sujeito, língua, discurso e enunciação, noções discutidas nos textos “Da Subjetividade na Linguagem” (1958), “A Natureza dos Pronomes” (1956) e “O Aparelho Formal da Enunciação” (1970). O corpus analisado provém de gravações audiovisuais de um contexto de sala de aula de Inglês como L2 do Núcleo de Ensino de Línguas em Extensão da UFRGS. A partir disso, é possível verificar por meio de quais mecanismos linguísticos o aluno instaura-se na linguagem, de modo que o fato lingüístico analisado indica o mecanismo de retorno e a função metalinguística como mecanismos que marcam a passagem de locutor a sujeito, de modo que o aluno possa referir e co-referir aos colegas e ao professor, postulados como interlocutores na sala de aula de L2.

This work aims at verifying the linguistic mechanisms that mark the passage from speaker to subject in the process of Second Language Acquisition (L2). Theoretically based on the Enunciation theory of Émile Benveniste, this work proposes an enunciative perspective of analysis for data of L2 classes. Therefore, a theoretical review related to Applied Linguistics studies is accomplished, considering the history of research in language acquisition area. In a second moment, the complexity of Benveniste’s theory is exposed, as well as the articles which bring the concepts that substantiate the data analysis in such work. Some of them are: subjectivity, intersubjectivity, speaker, subject, language, discourse, and enunciation; notions that are discussed in the articles “From the Subjectivity in Language” (1958), “The nature of Pronouns” (1956), and “The Formal Apparatus of Enunciation” (1970). The analyzed corpus was generated in form of audiovisual material in English classes at “Núcleo de Ensino de Línguas em Extensão” of UFRGS. Based on that, it is possible to verify through which linguistic mechanisms the learner is founded in the language, considering that the analyzed linguistic fact indicates the mechanism of return, and the metalinguistic function as mechanisms which mark the passage from speaker to subject in discourse, in a way the learner is able to refer and co-refer to the classmates and to the teacher, who are postulated interlocutors in L2 classes.
