Leitura na Biblioteca Escolar : uma análise dos aspectos político, metodológico e psicológico da leitura, na Biblioteca Manoelito de Ornellas

Abstract

Aborda a importância da leitura no desenvolvimento psicológico, social e cultural do indivíduo. Através de um estudo de caso realizado na biblioteca, Manoelito de Ornellas, da Escola Técnica Estadual Parobé, com alunos do ensino médio. Apresenta a relação existente entre os sujeitos entrevistados e os processos de leitura nos âmbitos psicológico, metodológico e político da leitura, no ambiente da biblioteca escolar. No âmbito político, aborda algumas iniciativas dos governos federais, estaduais e municipais com a implantação de projetos que visem o incentivo e a promoção do livro e da leitura. Alerta para a importância da valorização da biblioteca no contexto educacional, assim como a essencialidade do papel do bibliotecário como mediador de leitura na biblioteca. Evidencia a importância de a biblioteca realizar um estudo de usuário e assim direcionar seus serviços e produtos de maneira que atenda as demandas de seus usuários. Apresenta os resultados do estudo e analisa as respostas com a exposição de considerações sobre cada questão abordada na pesquisa, verificando, dessa forma, como se realizam os processos de leitura na biblioteca da escola.

This paper discusses the importance of reading on the psychological, social and cultural development of the individual, through a case study at the library, Manoelito de Ornellas from State Technical School Parobé, with high school students. It shows the relationship between the interviewees and the process of reading in the psychological, methodological and political reading, in the environment of the school library. Politically, discusses some initiatives from the federal, state and municipal governments with the implementation of projects aimed at encouraging and promoting books and reading. Alert to the importance of valuing library in the educational context, as well as the essential role of the librarian as mediator in the library reading. Highlights the importance for the library to conduct a user studies, thus direct their services and products in a way that meets the demands of its users. Presents the results of the study and analysis of the responses to the exposure assessment on each issue addressed in the research, therefore, checking how are performed the processes of reading in the library of school.
