Representações estéticas do pensamento autoritário em "A nova ordem"

Abstract

Esta tese consiste em um estudo sobre o pensamento autoritário em “A Nova Ordem”, obra de Bernardo Kucinski, publicada em 2019. A obra é uma novela distópica aos moldes de Orwell e Huxley, porém com características muito próprias que serão analisadas no corpus deste trabalho. O propósito das análises é verificar como o pensamento autoritário brasileiro do século passado, teorizado por Oliveira Viana, Azevedo Amaral e Francisco Campos influencia a construção estética da novela em questão. Para tal precisaremos estabelecer algumas diferenças conceituais entre autoritarismo, totalitarismo e o que é o pensamento autoritário brasileiro, pois elementos advindos dessas formas de governar tais como, repressão e violência serão analisados na obra, pois consistem estas últimas em ferramentas para a implantação ou mesmo a manutenção de um governo autoritário. O trabalho partirá de uma revisão sobre a fortuna crítica da obra, ou seja, analisará os estudos críticos mais relevantes sobre a obra e também sobre seu autor. Em outro momento apresentará as influências estéticas do pensamento autoritário na própria construção literária da obra, que pode ser dividida em dois núcleos principais, o primeiro que fala sobre os Éditos da Nova Ordem e o segundo, que podemos dizer que é narrativa em si, sendo as análises de cada um desses núcleos serão equivalentes ao segundo e terceiro capítulos deste trabalho.

This thesis is a study about authoritarian thought in “A nova ordem”, a book by Bernardo Kucinski, published in 2019. The work is a dystopian novel that remember the lines of Orwell and Huxley, but with very unique characteristics that will be analyzed in the corpus of this work. The scope of the analyzes is to verify how Brazilian authoritarian thought from the last century, theorized by Oliveira Viana, Azevedo Amaral and Francisco Campos, influences the aesthetic construction of the novel in question. To do this, we will need to establish some conceptual differences between authoritarianism, totalitarianism and what is the Brazilian authoritarian thought, as elements arising from these forms of governing such as repression and violence will be analyzed in the work, as the latter consist of tools for the implementation or even the maintenance of an authoritarian government. The work will start from a review of the critical fortune of the Kucinsk’s work, that is, it will analyze the most relevant critical studies on the work and also about the author. At another point, it will present the aesthetic influences of authoritarian thought on the literary construction of the work itself, which can be divided into two main nuclei, the first which talks about the Edicts of the New Order and the second, which we can say is narrative in itself, being the analyzes of each of these nuclei will be equivalent to the second and third chapters of this work.
