Democratização cultural : O Porto Alegre em Cena como ação cultural por excelência?

Abstract

A presente monografia se constitui em um estudo a respeito da democratização cultural como preceito indispensável para a realização de uma ação cultural por excelência. O mesmo foi realizado a partir de uma interação empírica com o projeto, cujo objetivo principal foi averiguar se o festival Porto Alegre em Cena realizado ao longo de 17 anos constitui efetivamente uma ação cultural excelente nos moldes apresentados por Teixeira Coelho. O objeto deste trabalho é o festival porto-alegrense e o método utilizado para a realização da monografia foi a análise de conteúdo das pesquisas qualitativas realizadas com o público da 17ª edição do evento, em 2010. A análise desse material trouxe resultados para uma compreensão acerca do que de fato ocorre com o festival e sua relação com a democracia cultural. Os resultados foram analisados com base em estudos de autores apresentados ao longo da monografia: Teixeira Coelho, Augusto Boal, André Gorz, Pierre Bourdieu, Denys Couche, entre outros.

This monograph is a study on the cultural democratization as a precept indispensable for the realization of a cultural action of excellence, not in an empirical way, but in a practical one. The main objective is to ascertain if the festival Porto Alegre em Cena is an excellent cultural action, in the manner shown by Teixeira Coelho. The object of this work is the festival of Porto Alegre and the method used for the analysis were qualitative researches with the public at the 17th edition of the event in 2010. The analysis of this material has brought significant results for an understanding of what actually happens to the festival and its relations to cultural democracy. The results were analyzed based on studies of authors presented throughout the monograph: Teixeira Coelho, Augusto Boal, Andre Gorz, Pierre Bourdieu, Denys Couche, among others.
