Os jovens e o compartilhamento de vivências cotidianas no twitter em tempo real

Abstract

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo principal explorar as práticas dos jovens no Twitter em relação às suas postagens em tempo real. Primeiramente são apresentados os dados que mostram a relevância de estudar esta faixa etária, ao se pensar em um comportamento verificado na internet, em uma plataforma da web 2.0. Também é definida a geração de jovens a ser estudada e os principais aspectos que a caracterizam. O trabalho também mostra como se dá a expressão na web hoje e através de quais plataformas e tecnologias e traz uma reflexão teórica sobre esta prática já incorporada às atividades cotidianas dos indivíduos. Para que se verificassem os pontos-chave apresentados na etapa teórica, partiu-se para um estudo empírico, em que se observaram, através de entrevistas de abordagem qualitativa, quais as principais características, hábitos e motivações presentes na prática dos jovens entrevistados ao utilizarem a plataforma Twitter. Viu-se que a reflexão teórica pode ser verificada com clareza no comportamento observado através da pesquisa.

This paper aims to explore the performance of young people on Twitter regarding their posts in real-time. The relevance of choosing this particular age group for the study will be broached on the first part of the paper, with the display of data concerning the behavior observed on the internet setting, in a web platform 2.0. The generation of young people selected for the research as well as the main aspects that characterize it will also be referred to here. In addition to that, the paper shows how the manifestations on the web occur nowadays, and witch platforms and technologies are involved in the process. It also brings a theoretical discussion about this practice that is now so widely incorporated on everyday life. In order to verify the key elements presented on the theoretical section, an empirical study was undertaken, in witch were observed, through qualitative based interviews, the main features, habits and motivations of the young interviewees regarding their performance on the Twitter platform. It was observed that the theoretical contemplation could be clearly verified on the behavior attested by the research.
