Do jogo à confraternização : uma panela de futevôlei em Cachoeirinha - RS

Abstract

O presente estudo se situa na temática do lazer vinculado ao futevôlei. Dessa forma, tem por objetivo compreender como um grupo de pessoas, que se reúnem em seu tempo de lazer, se organizam para a prática de futevôlei e fortalecem seus vínculos sociais. A partir disso, o referencial teórico principal da pesquisa se pauta no antropólogo José Guilherme Cantor Magnani e sua noção de “pedaço”. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, inspirada em ferramentas da etnografia para a construção dos dados, que contou com observações e registros em diários de campo. As redes sociais do grupo investigado também foram acessadas para obtenção de informações. Após, foi realizada a análise em que foram elaboradas as seguintes categorias: (1) a prática do futevôlei no lazer: a formação das ‘panelas’; (2) primeiro momento: o torneio; (3) segundo momento: a confraternização pós torneio e a panela de futevôlei através da noção de “pedaço”. Na primeira categoria retrato a auto organização do grupo e suas configurações que os reconhecem como uma panela de futevôlei. Já na segunda categoria, apresento o primeiro momento dos encontros de todas quintas-feiras, que é o torneio de futevôlei, esporte em comum que todos os integrantes do grupo praticam. Na categoria seguinte, trago o segundo momento vivenciado pela panela de futevôlei semanalmente, a confraternização que ocorre em torno da janta pós torneio. Por último, realizo uma síntese, com possíveis aproximações entre a panela de futevôlei observada com a noção de “pedaço” de Magnani. Assim, concluo que a panela de futevôlei se aproxima da noção de “pedaço” de acordo com os dois elementos elencados pelo autor, seu espaço físico de encontro que consiste sempre no mesmo local, dia e horário fixo, e suas redes de relações, em que criam e fortalecem vínculos e laços com os demais integrantes da panela.

The present study is situated on the theme of leisure linked to footvolley. In this way, it aims to understand how a group of people, who gather in their leisure time, organize themselves to practice footvolley and strengthen their social bonds. From this, the main theoretical framework of the research is guided by the anthropologist José Guilherme Cantor Magnani and his notion of “piece”. This is a qualitative research, inspired by ethnographic tools for the construction of data, which included observations and records in field diaries. The social networks of the investigated group were also accessed to obtain information. Afterwards, the analysis was carried out in which the following categories were elaborated: (1) the practice of footvolley in leisure: the formation of the 'pots'; (2) first moment: the tournament; (3) second moment: the post- tournament fraternization and the footvolley pot through the notion of “piece”. In the first category, I portray the self-organization of the group and its configurations that recognize them as a footvolley pot. In the second category, I present the first moment of the meetings held every Thursday, which is the footvolley tournament, a sport in common among all the members of the group. In the next category, I bring the second moment experienced weekly by the footvolley pot, the fraternization that takes place around the post-tournament dinner. Finally, I perform a synthesis, with possible approximations between the footvolley pot observed with the notion of “piece” by Magnani. Thus, I conclude that the footvolley pot is close to the notion of “piece” according to the two elements listed by the author, its physical meeting space, which always consists of the same place, day and fixed time, and its networks of relationships, that creates and strengthen bonds and ties with all the members of the pot.
